Yea, that was basically what I HOPE is what happened to them. They are merged into a single super-witch. It's sad and horrible, but they are together and holding each-other close in the dark...so it ends up being bittersweet rather than outright downer.

Your image just felt like a representation of that idea I had...and until the show says otherwise THIS IS what I will believe happened.
