...as someone else.I love Watchmen. I finally dared to draw fanart, a rather quick one, but there needs to be some Rorschach in my gallery now.
I did know that they were making a movie, but I thought that'd still be long, long while. So when I stumbled across a trailer, actual video material, my heart just stopped.
I guess the preview has been shown in theatres before the Dark Knight, but not where I live. So I discovered this trailer just today.
Even if the movie doesn't measure up to the comic's greatness at all, just seeing those characters in live action is enough to throw me into full fangirl-mode. Directed by Zack Snyder, it will at least look mindblowingly awesome.

Question is: Did you think the movie did the book justice? I dug it because I felt like it captured the imagery real well, and the biggest change they made in the movie was the biggest problem I had with the book--the ending with the big vagina monster.

Wow, what wonderful colouring, you've really captured the intensity of the scene, I like the contrast of the cold grey doors to the red hot fire. I quite like the rough, sketchy shading, which is appropriate to the dark and hostile life Rorschach leads.

This. Is. Awesome! I am also a huge Watchmen fan, and besides the subject of the picture, this is very well done! Its grungy and grimy full of blood-splattered Rorschach goodness. A definite fav, for the the amazing drawing and for more Watchmen fanart as explosively awesome as this!
