I've been wanting to draw Jason from the Friday the 13th movies for a while now, but only recently did I actually look for any type of reference pic. I had fun with this, but I might have put too much black in... Ah well, it's not like I do this too often.

this is faboo... FINALLY!! I run across some good Jason artwork! I do agree with some of the others that the blade on the machete could be bigger... Either way, this rocks... I am submitting a Jason pic I have been stashing away, but now I am inspired so drop by and take a look if yer interested.

ARgh damn DA didn't put up my response! Anyway, I think it's awesome, although the pants are a bit two dark. The jacket and bottom I'm pretty sure are very similar in color, like a janitor's outfit. Still I totally love the mask and the folds as usual are realistic enough to touch. You rock!

You really outdid yourself on that jacket man, I can FEEL the folds. Love the work you did on the mask too. I do think the pants are a bit too stark, beside he wears a kind of beat up bluish/gray janitor-looking outfit, not really black. Looks great nonetheless although the knife could be BIGGER!

Jason has been kicking butt for many years and I think you did a good job capturing his likeness. The knife or machette does not look to menacing.

The black pants are a bit overpowering, but I think that's the only place where black seems a bit much. Great details, especially in the jacket.
