Equip is happy to introduce the TRAVELING litter out of Tobi by Tim!

Another retiring lady, Tobi is going to be having her last breeding to Tim! Both Smooth Collies have accomplished careers behind them: Tobi is a driving dog who manages our herd of Alpine Goats. Lately she’s taken on a more teaching role as the younger dogs age up, but is still one of our go-to dogs when it comes to making the goats git. She is also an accomplished Tracking Champion and it has been her career sport since she was 2 years old. Tim, though he has herd-sense and has been used on our Sheep, is a water-loving Collie whose really made a name for himself in Dock Diving. He’s competed locally in fun competitions but is also fully titled in Dock Diving.

Health Testing is left up to prospective buyers so they may use their club of choice.

As a herding prospect she has a great foundation with intense desire to her (even trying to corral her littermates), yet she’s not pushy or aggressive and has a good level of persistence to work continuously. Her focus is impeccable so no matter what you do with her she is in it 100%!

This loving Smooth girl is the perfect little herding prospect! She’s got natural instincts and isn’t too pushy on stock and she keeps her attention on the herd very nicely. She’s also sweet and affectionate, can work independently with ease and is highly trainable. Her only downside is she shows some hesitation in new environments and needs to be introduced to new things before being expected to work with them. Unlike her father she isn’t a fan of water, but can tolerate it.

This handsome pup is a little social guy who loves meeting new people and other dogs. He’s very independent and has lots of patience and is very smart and picks up new lessons with ease as he loves to please. Although he’s got a good amount of herd sense, he’s not the keenest of the litter and would do best either on small or performance stock (such as ducks and geese), or paired with another seasoned herder. He’s not as fond of water as his father, but with his great trainability and athleticism, could easily excel in any other physical sports.

She’s got good herd sense and is good on stock, not aggressive or pushy, but she might not be so hard as to work goats or cattle. She also loves water, though not to the point of some of her siblings. She’d be a good farm dog or obedience prodigy.
