Gwah, love the Paper Cut Out feel and the textures on this! Such unique art for such unique film xD I love how you did HAL, Dave's "expression", and all the spacesuit details. Very neat!

Heh Nerd Love featuring Dave and HAL? Kinda a sick sense of humor considering what HAL did. But I love it nonetheless, Space Odyssey is one of the most brilliant and well made movies I've ever seen.

i like how his face is, its got a detached feeling, and i think that fits the subject, literally he is out in space and detached from civilization, unknowing of the trials and tribulations that lie ahead (HAL) and also the symbolic idea that we never truly die and go away, rather we detach ourselves from our bodies and evolve into the next dimension.

Dave's face could have a better expression, here he doesn't seem to have that alert, constrained/ clamped shutbut at the same time bland expression. This being said I still think this a good looking piece!

Yeah, there isn't much expression - it's more like a portrait I guess. Thanks for the feedback - it's definitely something I'd like to work on.
