Iset is a fiery passionate and ruthless mother to the yin and yang twins Akari and Kage. However she is also the only female that her true love Ausar has ever been able to handle other then the twins. The two tyrians were but young hatchlings when the mad king took his unlawful reign of the kingdoms. During the fights and battles he caused, the two lost their parents and were dragged from their homes by the other tyrians to Vitalus, were they nested together. At first they were nothing more then acquaintances, neighbors from when they lived in Warrenfall with their families. But through time they became strong friends and then lovers.
However Iset hated being trapped on the island and grew antsy, seeking new lands and something to conquer. Something was pulling for them to leave in search of something else. That is when the two found the demon wolf boys, covered in blood and wrapped in old wolf pelts. they appeared to be abandoned but the tyrians could sense higher powers watching them closely, judging their worth. After some time Iset and Ausar agreed to foster the children and brought the twins homes to Vitalus. There they raised the twins as best they could.
The younger twin, Kage, took a liking to her monstrous and daring personality. Seeing her strength as a great asset, he took after her the most. The two would often pick fights and can become snappy when hungry. They are active beings and are often seen flying around the cliffs doing dangerous stunts or fighting mythical creatures. However her strong attitude wasn't kage's only asset. For she was the only being strong and close enough to calm the fire that often took control of his mind and set him ablaze to wreak havoc upon the land. She never hated his explosions though, in fact she loved him even more for it. For to her it meant she wasn't the only broken child out there who was cracked by the world unfair "justice".
