Description A couple people have expressed interest in seeing more of my circus/cosplay make-up designs from the past. This series of pictures contains all the major designs I've done from 2004 to present (June 2007). Not all of the pictures are high-quality, for which I apologize, but I hope you enjoy them anyway!

This design: My Halloween costume for 2003 was based on the character of Jemima from CATS (the Broadway musical... movie version). The unitard was originally completely white, but my friends and I colored it with fabric pens and paint. Thanks go to Emma Downs and Kelli Downing for making this costume possible!

I always liked Jemima... her manner toward Grizabella was something I admired. That fascination that wasn't bound by fear... And Veerle Castelyn was such a cute little dancer in the movie production. ^_^

Ditto! It was the first musical I ever saw... and the one that made me want to dance and perform for a living. I've since changed my profession/career goals, but I still have a deeply engrained love for musical theatre. There's a production of Fiddler on the Roof at my college this year... and I'm thinking I may try out. It would be my first time acting/singing since junior high school... Scary! *laughs*

I love it too, and it's all thanks to cats as well. Luckily around here we're really close to New York and we have a lot of little theaters with really good productions right around us.

Wow, thats great! I love the wig!

I used to be obsessed wiht the musical CATS when I was younger. :3 I haven't seen it in what seems like ages, so I don't really remember it.

I saw it once when I was really young... Oddly enough, I only remember the parts that were NOT included in the DVD/movie version! I remember the whole Growltiger's Last Stand scene and song... Nowadays, I put the DVD in every once in a while and dance along when the Jellicle Ball sequence comes. ^_^ Great times!

As for the wig, it was supposed to be a "Mad Scientist" wig, and we just used a bunch of that colored hair-spray stuff to fragment it like Jemima's is. *grins*

*laughs* Thank you! I'm glad you like it. All it took was a bit of patience and a couple friends who are comfortable drawing on the costume when you have it on. ^_- It's my favourite costume to date.

Yeah. I LOVE that play! I've always loved Veerle Castelyn too, so making this costume and getting to experiment with the make-up was a LOT of fun!
