Description
The Wizard mouse is the companion to the Cat Wizard. [link]This was a special piece that I airbrushed in metallic autumn colors and natural brown deer mouse color.
I don't know what a harvest mouse is, but the name sounded cute.
He is just under 4 inches tall and wields a dichroic crystal ball.
This is a cast gypsum reproduction of my original sculpture, produced by Windstone Editions.

Harvest mice are similar to deer mice except they have a redder fur and less extensive white area. [link] (They're probably smaller too, but I'm not certain)
They are a very cute little mouse that is sadly in decline due to changing farming practices (as the name suggests they were most commonly seen when fields were harvested, but now-a-days fields are harvested earlier, before the mice leave their nests and they're killed in the machinery.)

Oh! They have more vole like heads! But somewhat similar in color.. huh.

I've never noticed that before, but yes their heads are vaguely vole like. They're also (I believe) the only mouse with a fully prehensile tail [link] [link] they're truly a very sweet animal in my opinion.

Uh..I recommend finding an expensive one that's been used,but not dropped hard on its nose... Get an Iwata if you can. They are awesome, -unless you drop them on their nose.
The airbrush isn't the whole thing though, you still will need an air supply and a thing to keep the air dry, that adds up to a fair investment of $.
