I am looking on Ebay for them.. They also made a black one with flames that looks awesome. It's expensive though. I am trying to get this one in package, see what happens. I don't wanna pay $15-20 for it like the black ones selling for on Ebay.

Never seen the black one with flames? Have a couple of clean white ones too or based them white one? Want to add some 76 decals and paint if I can find them again in my boxes?

Yea people can get crazy on Ebay.. I have been told many times that watching Ebay is best way to find value of cars. Watch ones and see what they end up going for. Which makes sense, things are only worth what people willing pay for them. So if so several auctions end and car goes for like $20 everytime, can assume that real worth as what people paying for it.

Have numerous friends that have done this for years and make some cash! Don't really care if I get the first editions anymore and just want a frame to customize. A different way to collect and only care about killing them!Β

Yea you can definitely make some money, that's one of main reasons people go crazy over finding Supers. I mean I could turn that Super Delorean found other day and paid 97 cents for into $15 + easy if sold it on ebay. See them going between $15-$30. Β I spent the most recently on a HW car and ever thought would BUT felt it a good investment because can see it going up in years to come because very popular casting and only 4k of them made. They already selling between $50-$100 on Ebay so happy with the $40 paid for it. Plus I just LOVE it so wanted it for more than just thinking go up in value.Β

They are only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it? Personally, invested a fortune on the 100% Hotwheels and they should start making these again if you ask me? Talk about some high quality die-cast!

Exactly, that's why Ebay great tool because see what people are willing to/paying for things. Of course supply/demand has big part of it. I see a lot of people going crazy over the Japanese sport cars, Datsuns etc.. Even the normal mainline ones people grabbing all them up and they selling for more than a $1.. Β The RLC Chevy Silverado that paid the big bucks, ok not really but most ever paid for a HW car lol. The only way to get them was if member of RLC club and from what told they sold out in a minute.. So now you are seeing ones for sale that doubles people bought to sell. Once those ones dry up think the price will only go up as be fewer of them sold and people will ask more for them and likely get it because a very popular casting. Β  Though at end of day I only buy/collect what like.. Which is mostly Mustangs and Trucks.. I have zero interest in all Jap motorsport cars people going crazy over. Though I did come across a few recently and decided to grab them for a possible trade in future lol.

Sounds like I used to be. Do have a nice original collection with some really nice cars but just not interested in that anymore? Will kill any and everything these days and very few escape my wrath of destruction! It's just as much fun to customize as it is to collect! Also, have been doing this for over 40 years and started at age 5. Guess it's kinda my passion in life but do have other interest,Β

Everybody into differents things. I see a lot of people into the customs and may try my hand at it some day but being as I just collect as of now. The cars are worth more to me or someone else if decide sell/trade if in package and in way came from factory. Β But you never know, down road may just try my hand at doing some customs and if do will definitely hit you up for help

You would be surprised at how many people ask if I sell customs? Will never happen but do love the hunt for factory Hotwheels with custom potential! Look all the time and sometimes you get lucky!
