Triton was faithful to Poseidon from the very beginning. And that meant something, as an Origin who had once served alongside the god of the Seas during the Titanomachy. Now, as the stunning Aksi wandered among the mortals of the earth, he tried to do his very best to honor Poseidon... and find a way to reconnect with the god that had given him a second home. So it was really no surprise when he jumped at the chance to return to the glistening depths of the ocean when offered the opportunity by the Essence Master.

He pondered what form he might take, to reach out to the Greek god, as he yearned for a glimpse of the past. He contemplated the powerful hind end of a great white shark, or the fleet & fast form of the sailfish, or the entwining tentacles of the octopus, or perhaps something as elegant as a seahorse. But in the end, it was a more magical and ethereal form that he settled on... one that Poseidon might recognize and remember. He kept his coloration, and stepped into the water as his back end was transformed into a fantastical array of fins. Aquatic whiskers sprouted from the sides of his mouth, as his lungs began to safely breath the water that entered them. His horn, made of a sturdy and unbreakable material mimicked the texture of ocean coral, and his mane took on the sheen of an Atlantean pearl. Malleable & sparkling gold formed delicately at the tips of his fins & horn, as he swam through the water effortlessly.

As a herald for the god the Seas, this form felt right. Felt true.
