Previously:The Amazonian way of life was wonderful - peace, quiet and tranquility upon the island of Themyscira. The women were amazing; strong warriors who shared the same respect and belief in the Greek gods of Olympus - from whence Khione had come. They showered the mare with care and love.
Themyscira was not her home, but Khione was finding it easy to settle into an alternate life on the island. She could wander among lush meadows to graze on sweet grasses, spend an afternoon ambling across the golden sand of the beach, or just rest comfortably in Queen Hippolyta's elegant stables. The women began to dote with extra care and attention, as Khione's appetite grew... and with it her belly began to swell. It was becoming apparent that Khione had not fallen from Olympus alone... she was pregnant.
The Amazons considered Khione a blessing - and even more so now that they realized she carried a magical foal whose life had been created in Olympus prior to the Cavittos Fall. She truly belonged on Paradise Island with them, and they would do anything to protect this mare and her unborn child...
Has it seriously been almost 3 years since I last drew my girl? *faints* Well it's time to move her story along again... finally.
She has been confirmed at 25 VP and I seriously need to design her laurels. I think I know what I'm going to do with them, but I want to be absolutely sure before committing her to a design. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to reveal her laurels and her foal together, in the next image?

Themyscira sounds like a wonderful place - I would love to visit there myself if that was possible!
The art is gorgeous; Khione looks so beautiful and calm with her big belly, shiny coat and amazing hair.

I had neglected her story for far too long, and it's time to get going on all my Cavittos again (... of course, my vacation is over now, so drawing time may slow down immensely again).
I'm not sure if I'll do the foal reveal, or the laurels first... or both together... or who knows?
But I'm definitely looking forward to drawing more of my snow girl again. <3

Ah vacations, why are they always so short?! Just when you develop a perfect drawing mood they end. 
I hope you'll find time to continue her story soon! Revealing both laurels and baby at the same time sounds like a great plan to me (who would have guessed... 
But do not take any pressures; they happen when the time is ready. (Says a person whose Cavittos are still lacking laurels - all but one.

Well, actually, okay I 'stop' all the time for RL responsibilities, etc... so there's that I suppose. But if I had unlimited funds I would just practice drawing my Cavi's all day long.
I guess it's time to start playing the lottery or something, LOL.
Thank you for all of your kind comments - they mean the world to me. I was really nervous trying to convey a preggo belly, but I knew I wanted to show her relaxing on the island pregnant before the baby just appeared. I'm relieved to hear you think it came out okay. And I'd love to see Amara and/or Terpsi pregnant - I know you'd make them look amazing (better than what I can draw).
The neck was strange (drawing at a different angle than I normally do) but I'm glad I tried it and the reference was a huge (like HUGE) help.

I think it came out perfect <3 And the time will come when I'll draw them pregnant. Terpsichore first though (and twice!), because Amara will only have Menodora much later on in her travels. But yeah, it's definitely a must!
