Description "Oh, what is a babysitter to do," she thought as the calf glanced back with a mischievous look in his eye. His mother was off catching dinner...

OK, so not exactly a traditional appearing plesiosaur, but it was looking a little plain/boring, so I decided to dress it up. Of course, since they are supposed to be huge, I was afraid the mermaid would loose all her detail next to the mother, so I only drew the calf. No reference used for the plesiosaur. Mermaid (human portion) referenced from Modern Bride Magazine August/September 2005 - Angelina Faccenda Ad (pg. 72).

That's a very original idea for a mermaid. I love it! The sea creature is very nice as well. I love mermaids, and the Loch Ness Monster is one of my favorite cryptids- so this is right up my alley!
