First off, the over all character design is really well done! There were alot of ways you could have taken the homage to the FF black mage design, but working in the subtle, darker colors (the touches of purple namely) and mixing them with the light blue, gave you a really strong palette to work with with your OC's colors, the white and salmon. The glasses are well done, not being so thick and colored that they obsucre the eyes, but still giving the impression of being rather geeky (awesome choice btw). Really, the only suggestion I could give on this piece as a whole is that along the hands, just adding slight touches near the fingers to suggest she's gripping the staff, as she does appear to be leaning on it a little. You could do this either with actual lines, or by adding in indentations of the shadow color. Either way, fantastic job my friend!
