Description

Ayumi Kohaku-La Folia  "Yumi"
Postion:
Owner/Teacher

Age:
28

Personality:

Ayumi, is a very silent individual with a larger personality. While she doesn't tend to say too much, her looks can convey 1,000 words. She is a severe workoholic and is almost always busy. She often over burdens herself with tasks, but is the sort that doesn't ask for help. She was hesitant about asking her sister to co-own her ranch, but thankfully she decided to give-in for once. When their mom fell ill, it was Aymui who ran eveything and took care of everyone, so she is very good with knowing what needs to be done to help a situation, as well as many different ways to heal people of a variety of injuries and illnesses. Surprisingly, she handles stress very well and is very good about compartmentalizing and organizing thoughts and tasks. Ayumi's dilligence can also be taken as stubborness, which she certainly has. However, despite this, she has used this to win over tough pokemon, and beat many tough situtations.
She has a very large heart and, while she doesn't necessarily wear it on her sleeves like Tori, it is easy to tell when she cares about someone.

Extras:
- Husband is almost never home because he is a Pokemon Ranger
-Working towards a Pokemon veterinary degree

Tori Kohaku
Position:
Co-Owner/ Gym Leader

Age:
20

Personality:

Tori is, for the most part, a very curious individual who loves to explore. She likes to investigate legends and partake in late night seminars on battle strategy. To her, strategy is everything and she constantly tries to change her battle style to keep things fresh. She is a very kind person and tries to be mature around people. However, there are a few people that know her more devious side. Tori likes to occasionally poke fun and tease her friends just as she often receives, but she tries to make sure she never goes too far. She, like most teens, can come off as a tad rash in her decisions. She certainly isn’t perfect by any stretch of the imagination and sometimes she tends to snap when she feels cornered. She generally keeps her temper under tabs though and is more of a passive aggressive person. Despite this, she is very forgiving though and more than willing to give people a second chance. There are certain things that she has a harder time forgiving though, lying, betrayal and those that murder and steal.

Ever since Tori was younger, she has never held a grudge against anyone, unlike a certain cousin of hers. Tori, is fairly good at managing her time between the Adaptability gym and the ranch itself, but she primarily takes care of the gym and the trainers that come to visit. She loves giving tips to kids that come to watch her battles and, even though extremely humble when it comes to her position, she always reserves seats for these kids. Overall, Tori tends to be pretty down to earth and mature. She never accepts the stereotypes on groups and always makes sure that she gives everyone the benefit of the doubt, which tends to get her in trouble a lot.

Extras:
-Became a gym leader at 18
- Can understand pokemon language and they can understand her

Soren Tobias
Position:
Ranch User/ Magician

Age:
23

Personality:

Soren is a rather shy and timid boy when he isn’t performing on stage. This is rather unfortunate since both his parents work in a highly social environment and have forced him into doing a bunch of things. He isn’t a fan of doing the modeling work that his mother puts him up to and he really doesn’t want to take over for his dad, but he doesn’t have the guts to tell them that.

He is the baby of the family and his mother has issues with the idea of letting him go. Soren has really suffered because of this in the self-esteem area and tends not to think to highly of himself. Thankfully, his parents did allow Soren to do the one thing he really really loved, magic. Soren has a couple of unique talents that have yet to really reveal themselves, but have made him extremely popular as an idol, which is funny since he is so shy. However, when Soren is performing, he changes personality. He is absolutely charming, gentlemanly, and brave. He isn’t a fan of all the attention he gets from crazy fans, but he definitely appreciates the fans he has.

Soren also tends to be a little more brave in battles against others. He can generally put on a façade but he still will act like his timid self when he is not in disguise. Naturally he had to fall for the tough headstrong no nonsense trainer too and because of this has grown much more bold. He hasn’t confessed to her yet, but he has considered it. He is a very suave and sophisticated gentleman and is very good at making people feel good about themselves. His patience towards people is very good too, making it easy for him to deal with all kinds of people, with the exception of his eldest brother.

Extras:
- Has a Crush on Tori's Cousin Tara
-Can manipulate fire to a small degree
-Fire-Type trainer

Tara Toshiko
Postion:
Ranch User/Police officer

Age:
24

Personality:

Tara is a headstrong, stubborn and serious trainer. A lot happened in her life when she was younger and, as a result, her personality has soured. She used to be an adorable little girl that would smile and be jolly almost all the time, but most of that changed after the death of her very first pokémon. Tara held a lot of resentment towards Team Rocket and nothing would have made her happier than watching their organization crumble to the ground. Of course, Tara wasn’t simply content to just watch, she wanted to be a part in Team Rocket’s downfall.

Tara doesn’t have a lot of fears and generally represses such “silly” emotions. She thinks that crying and fear are a waste of time and she definitely won’t let anyone see her cry or acknowledge being afraid. However, despite the fact that she is relatively fearless, she does have a few fears (a few specific members of team Rocket, losing her pokemon and family, and she doesn't like thunderstorms). She tends to be a little bit snarky and will pre battle trash talk.

Think tsundere and you have Tara. She seems very cold hearted and hostile at first, but once you get to know her and she warms up to you, you can see that Tara is a pretty caring individual. She just tends to act tough and boast that she thinks that romance is stupid, but of course she doesn’t think this. She is far more calm now then she was in her teen years, but she still is getting used to acting like a normal person her age might.

Tara is also more than capable of fighting for herself even without her pokémon. Since her father works for the police, she was enrolled in martial arts. Her legs may not be the strongest, but she can throw a pretty wicked punch or two. She doesn’t fight all that often though unless she doesn’t want her pokémon to be involved or they are busy and she needs to get rid of some people. Tara has gotten through alot of her issues, but she is still not the friendliest of individuals. She is queen of one word answers and will only socialize with people she is comfortable with.

Extras:

-Cousins to Ayumi and Tori
-Reciprocates Soren's affection
- works part-time as a police officer

Rikka Ryuu
Position:
Ranch User/Vigilante

Age:
19

Personality:

W.I.P

Extras:

Mana Rei Yorokobi
Postion:
Ranch User/ Traveler

Age:
24

Personality:

Mana is the sort of individual that will give you the shirt off her back, and won't stop there. She likes to make others smile and will do her best to at least try and brighten your day. She is perhaps a little too protective of her friends and wants absolutely the best for them and will do everything she can to try and assure that this happens. While this is great, Mana is shy upon meeting people for the first time, and people that she wants to become friends with are the people she tends to distance herself from the most. She's awkward and doesn't always react in a normal way to situations, which can be a little offsetting for some people.

Mana is also the sort that tends to forget things easily and get distracted. She struggles with prioritizing tasks and gets overwhelmed when there is too much that she feels needs to be done. She also is in a constant state of worry, but you aren't likely to know unless you get close to her. She worries a lot about interacting with others so her actions can make her seem snobbish or distant sometimes, but that isn't the case.  She is extremely upfront if she doesn't like you and will let you know (since she feels it would be rude to lie and talk poorly about them behind their back).

She's not necessarily good at anything, but tries her hardest regardless. She gets flustered easily and will sometimes pull away to take breaks. She's definitely an emotional sort, but doesn't want anyone to see her cry, so she will often act tougher than she is. She loves hanging out with her pokemon, and even though she has no idea what she is doing with her life, has decided to help others in anyway she can while enjoying the company of her pokemon.
