EDIT: To make this even more cringy, I ship me and my little brother totes ship her with Shadow, but not the whole 'love at first sight' thing that always happens, at practically all times its a sort of "I understand your pain 'cause I'm edgy too" sort of thing, which might develop into something sort of platonic-y.

I read a while back that its near impossible to draw a decent Sonic OC, so me, being the competitive little piece of work that I was, wanted to prove the author wrong.

Instead I only proved it to be true.

I honestly hated drawing in this style, my OC plus their backstory felt really good, its just that the way the world had been made it had made it impossible to tweak or slip a character in there without making the whole universe crumble.

Tang technically only has one form, which is the creepy monster one (based on the dog thing from FullMetal), but she 'perceives herself' as normal. If that makes sense. I was planning on making a little origin comic to better explain everything for me, but I honestly despise the art style so much that I've completely dropped the idea. But if its requested I might though.

Backstory: A scientist who wanted to recreate creatures like Sonic and co., no one knows the reason why, but they relentlessly tried to recreate them via collecting their DNA, blood samples after battles and even going as far as to kill/steal the bodies of Anthropomorphic creatures who had both recently and not so recently passed away. They eventually created Tang by splicing the DNA of a ferret, a human and a dead Anthropomorphic creature, which made her turn out the way she did. After realising that she was both a failure and successful to some degree, he started trying to make more, sending out the creatures he had already made to kill more Anthropomorphic creatures to continue his experiments.
After a couple more attempts that had ended with the subject dying, the scientist perfected the strategy and started producing proper Sonic-like creatures of all kinds. One day, the scientist realised that after all these years, Tang was dying, so he did the humane thing and put a blindfold on her, and shot her, however, she didn’t die from this, instead her body not only healed the fatal wound, but also managed to repair the dying and decaying organs, thus saving her life. However, she didn’t know about this and ran away, thinking that the scientist didn’t love her anymore, when in reality, he loved her like his own daughter and would die for her.
