Oh Raax, what HAVE you done to me?
So here is some of that Maryland art that I promised you all. I'm going to upload arts bit by bit. This particular bit of tomfoolery was done as a direct result of the fact that (while visiting my friend) I realized... regardless of the GENDER, I love the entire Wes/Chris dynamic. There's just no getting around it.

Some characters, when you bend them, sort of take on an identity of their own (go ask *Raax-theIceWarrior about the difference between CLeona and CLeon. She's got my back, yo), or at the very least require some tweaks that make them more feminine/masculine than their original counterpart. But not these two. Not really. I could have drawn any of these four scenarios with any of the genders and it still would have worked out just fine. The "relationship" between these two is more than just 'ooh, two pretty guys. I guess I'll make them have buttseckz'; I'm genuinely crazy about the torrid love/hate captain/subordinate frenemy/arch rival cat-and-mouse bond between them, and that is what I call a REAL character dynamic.

Of course, there are slight differences in their "relationship" situation, between the four, ah... 'incarnations' of this pairing---namely between the two het incarnations. And you can blame Raax for that too. xD

Where Wesker's male and Chris is female, I kind of imagine the prick to be more suave, sophisticated, and debonair about his pursuits - use his wit and tongue to get under the lady-Redfield's collar as only he knows how to do. On the flipside, where Wesker's female and Chris is male... well, please watch this music video: [link] I think it explains EVERYTHING. >B I

Other than that, I guess there really isn't much to say. My favorite is still the guy/guy pairing, but feel free take your pick.

Oh yes - Both F/F & M/M are S.T.A.R.S. era, F!W/M!C is Code Veronica, and M!W/F!C is Russia Level UC. Or more like from the UC manga. Whatever.

ALSO MY FEM!WESKER STILL HAS SHORT HAIR IN THE S.T.A.R.S. ERA (I think). I was just trying out something different for the heck of it. My Russia level FEM!Chris has always had long hair tho. *shrugs*

OK I AM DONE NOW.
