Dear any and all Tales of...games:You have to be some of the best games I have played in years. Abyss, Eternia, Legendia, and now Vesperia. You are better than most RPGs I have played and I love you forever!

So yes. I cosplayed from Vesperia at Otakon this year. Yuri had been started months ago and had gone unfinished. After some poking from my inner cosplay kid saying "HEY! FINISH THIS", I finished him. I have a few Tales costumes, but Yuri is definitely my favorite. He came out so clean and I was so happy.
And yes. If you have seen my other photos, I am a girl. I designed my shirt to bind me for this without actually physically binding. <3

The shirt itself is drafted to be form-fitting. It also forces me to stand up straight so it helps to flatten my out a bit more. Though, this technique only works on smaller-chested girl. I used an invisible zipper to close it over to give it extra tightness.

Its actually a really amazing technique I figured out about halfway through making it. Completely unintentionally. But when I remade the shirt, it surprisingly worked out in my favor. XD

I did love your costume. I was the retarded looking Asbel from Tales of Graces this day. I was actually there when these photos were shot....you are a very cool looking Yuri, and these pictures came out really well.
However ...I am going to say this as nice as can. o_O You def. weren't approachable.

I guess the whole βDonβt judge a book by its coverβ definitely applies to this silly misunderstanding! ^_^ I actually had that problem with my Angel Sanctuary groupβ¦I do applaud my friend for going as Rosiel but she had no idea who he was. Photographers are always a mess, I just bought a new Nikon so I canβt wait to take it to Katuscon with me!

Its actually the cut of the shirt itself. I tailored it to fit a bit more snug in certain places.

Ahhh gotcha. xD I'm planning on being Yuri, so I was wondering. xD Not that having binding is much of an issue for me, butyeah. I'll probably end up buying it though, seeing as how my sewing talent isn't THAT great.. nor do I have a sewing machine. xD -handsews the cosplays I made so far- But haha, posture.. That'd be great for me ff. It'd shut my mom up. xD BUT ANYWAY your cosplay's amazing! Cool to see that people go with Yuri's purple hair, too. Instead of the black. (I kinda use figures to figure out exactly what color some characters should be.. Yuri has two figures out, both purple, so yay!)
