Where does one even start here? Welp, my dear boyfriend and I competed in the WCS last weekend at Katsucon and did Okami. So, for people to know, I'm going to copy and paste Oshi's explanation of the puppet Ammy:

Ammy is made of an insulation foam skeleton, with plywood legs that have a K'Nex wheel and steel cable pulley system in them, attached to PVC pipe running out the sides that are attached at my hips, and held. Neck is vacuum tubing. There is motion in all joints, including mouth.
Maybe I'll make a collage of how it's all put together. It's pretty complex.

Rao was pretty simple. Bottomweight, Duponi, and Casa. Nothing really over the top complicated.

Our skit was something left to be desired. Our fight scene was amazing but because of a control malfunction, we kinda failed a bit. But we did our best and that's what matters.

Finally: Yes, I am aware of *Risachantag's Ammy puppet concept, and it's really coincidental. I devised this idea back in October, and not a week later, Risa posted her Ammy. We figured our stuff was different enough to not raise too many eyebrows. Oshi and I loved their puppet Ammy <3
