Warm-up sketch before tackling a dreaded project.I broke my rule about posting drawings of fictional people before I fix major anatomy issues ...
But, to be fair, the projects (they're Christmas gifts ...) are both photo realism portraits.
So I decided to give myself a break.
Since I've never really drawn her much anyways, here's OoT Princess Zelda.
I know some things aren't symmetrical ... (ears, eyes ... hrmm).
But I feel like I've improved a bit.

Actually non-symmetrical features give the impression of more realistic faces. Hardly ever will you find someone like that.
I love the way you represent her eyes, I can't wait to see the full work.

Thank you! Yes, I know asymmetry is true for realistic faces ... I just thought it might look off on an idealized fictional character (but I guess it doesn't matter too much, as long as it isn't extreme!). I'll color her eventually - thanks for the input!
