The time to complete the paintings depends on what time I have.
The encaustic part goes rather quickly. It dries quickly. I finalize the paintings with different layers of oilcolors and sometimes I am satisfied early on, but let say 2-3 weeks.

Hmm, I wonder what exactly was your thinking in naming this. Are you referring to the Earth via referencing the Roman goddess Terra (or Greek goddess Gaia)? Or are you referencing the actual Moon, via the definition of the English word 'terra'? Hah...look what happens when I explore and look-up words; I come up with multiple options, and even with those, I could be missing some still, as you have listed yourself from Sweden. (That said – there is something appealing in the ambiguity of the title.)
Anyways, now that I’ve rambled on, how big is your painting, in actuality? And congratulations on being selected on for a daily deviation. (: (And I’m sorry if I just rambled on for five sentences too long.)

Well, I think I choose titles that can be interpreted in different ways.
I like meditative paintings which can give various associations.
I got really many comments so I could not answer yours until today. And 1000 views on "Terra" in one day !
