Description
To the rest of the Anitorian Federation, the Outland Frontiers to the west are nothing more than a uncomfortable, barren, and dangerous area to live in. Those who refuse to, or can't afford to move to the more hospitable coastal areas, call it their home. Unfortunately, their lives are at risk every day by the number of outlaws, and murderers who prey on them, and the diminishing law enforcements struggle to keep the population protected.One man, named Dieter Retehi took matters into his own hands. He wanders the Frontiers, watching over those innocents who can't protect themselves, delivering his own brand of justice to the unfortunate criminals that he hunts down day and night. The world to him is black and white, and anyone who has harmed anyone else will pay equally, and most likely with their life.
For him though, a more complex, and life-altering future is in store, taking him far outside his native home.

Until I found the picture here and learned his name, I thought this was a badass Wile E Coyote. Alas, alack, I was also hoping to find an equally badass Roadrunner, with both of them helping folk, each in his own way. Ah, well, time to crawl into a hole and cry.
I like the picture, except for one thing. I own a full-length duster (my... 4th?) and they don't really blow all that much in the wind; they're too heavy. Mine is, anyway. Other than that, good picture.

You did a good job on this, bud. It gives the impression of a still from an animated movie clip.
Only thing I would have added is some swirly sand around the chap's ankles. But that's just aesthetic judgement.

Indeed, looking at it later, I could of added more environmental effects, not sure why it didn't occur to me at the time.

I think when you work on a pic for long enough, you stop seeing ways to change and improve upon what you've already done. S'why it helps to have to or three projects on the go at once. xD

Wow Rettie, you've really come a long way from what I last could remember. Before I comment on the main focus of this piece, I want to let you know that you did a superb job on the atmosphere and the background of this picture. I think even without the description, people would be able to figure out what the Frontiers are like.
Onto Retehi...I know you've wanted to keep your style cartoony. You've done a great job, but it's not without attention to detail! The belt, the dog tags, the ammunition...you've done an amazing job on all these things, and with the image overall. I love his attire, especially the coat.
I also love how you've shadowed/highlighted this picture, too. You've come a long way, friend.
