"Scifer grit his teeth and kept pounding his studded gloves into the killer’s metal mask with sickening crunches coming from behind it. The assassin had stopped moving a few hits ago and Scifer only just realised that the killer had dropped the pistol he was brandishing. The badgerfox stared, wide-eyed at the mess he'd made, breathing heavily through his bloodied teeth. Had he just thwarted an assassination attempt?

Scifer leapt to his feet and his pounding heart followed a few seconds later. He stared at the black-suited figure, lying on the crimson rug of the Embassy hallway beneath its tall banners of peace and prosperity. The assassin wasn’t moving at all. He might have been dead, but Scifer really couldn’t stomach looking behind that concave mask now. The badgerfox leant against the wall and regained his breath. He cautiously bent down and picked up his ultrasonic gun, keeping it poised in case the assassin was playing dead. Scifer grimaced when he realised how much pain his jaw was in and clicked it back into place with an unsympathetic shove. He gave a grunt and winced slightly before tugging his red bandanna back into place and holstering his pistol, in an attempt to make himself look a bit more respectable. Little did he know that he was covered in spats of blood, some of it his own, from the recent brawl.

Diplomat or not, both he and the Embassy had some explaining to do now..."
