Description
This is my version of the Pokemon, Arcanine. It was made for Brickfair Virginia this past weekend. It took a full month of nonstop building to finish and has been in design since last December. This is my first real statue, in that it is entirely designed for this pose and cannot move.This is entirely supported on its one front paw. There's no trick photography hiding the support structure. More photos showing various angles will come tomorrow.

Im interested to know, how do you start a moc like this, do you have a plan or do you just make it up as you go along?

I start with the head, which has the smallest details, to gauge size.Β I figured out the basic pose and built a technic base that can support the weight.Β Then starting from the paw on the ground, I went up, figuring out how to build it as I go.Β
