These are great! I'm making a music video for a musican friend of mine and could potentially be interested in using these. I'll make sure to credit you and show you what we've done with your great resources!
Also, I really like your concept of (for lack of a better word) blacklisting certain "flawed views". I might have to start doing that with my stuff too!

You have some really great work here.
Although I have to ask…I understand not wanting to have your work associated with hate or racism but what do you have against a "free market." The "free market" is what allowed America to become great and created all the jobs that Americans enjoy. I'm not trying to start an argument, I can understand if someone has different views then me, I just like trying to understand them. I tend to fall more on the right-side of politics and I'm assuming you fall more on the left-side.

No I actually don't fall on the left side of politics. I'm a centrist or moderate. I don't have a problem with the concept of free markets. But I'm smart enough to know when I'm being lied to. Well... most of the time
First let's clear up the misconception that a free market and free trade are the same thing. They are not. A free market is a economic system or model. However, what is currently being presented as "Free trade" is nothing more than a extreme right wing political movement which uses demagogy, free riding and astroturfing, via Fox News and talk radio to push its agenda as a populist view. It has nothing to do with economics, democracy, personal or individual liberties or unfair taxation. It's all based on Objectivism or "rational selfishness" although there's nothing rational about it.
The balanced free market system which allowed America to become a great nation no longer exist. It's been replaced by "Free Trade" a.k.a. Laissez-faire capitalism, a.k.a. Free-market anarchism. Or "Supercapitalism" as Robert Reich recently labeled it. The people behind free trade are the 1% of the population that holds 90% of all global wealth. Their system puts corporate profits and wealth over the well being and security of the individual, the state, and country. They believe corporations should be "free" to do as they wish with no interference, regulation or taxation by government. Regardless of the consequences, the morality, the ethics or the impact their actions have on individuals and the stability of their country. In the US, free trade lobbyists actively work to rewrite the US constitution to grant corporations the same rights as the individual. So their real goal is to free themselves from the rule of law and taxation. In their eyes, the only role for government is to serve them, to protect them and to pass laws that solidify their power. Problem is... that's not democracy, it's a form of feudalism and history has already shown this combination of economic and social models is inherently dangerous. See the french revolution for details.
If we don't restore some level of balance to our system through government regulation of corporations plus major revisions of the corporate tax and employment laws, it will inevitably lead to drastic changes in government or wide scale violence. Free trade has already resulted in the largest shift of wealth out of one country, the US, over the shortest amount of time, in recorded history. The gap between rich and poor, in the US and overseas is now greater than ever. If we don't undo the mistakes of the last 30 years, it will lead to violent change. It's not a question of if, it's just a matter of when.
So... that's why I'm so opposed to it. I truly believe this is a much greater threat to the stability and security of the country than terrorism, socialism or communism. It's the reason why the quote on my profile reads"Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it".
The fact that the very people behind it have wrapped themselves in the flag claiming to be "real Americans" makes me want to vomit.

I don't disagree with anything you have stated, the current health care legislation is a prime example of our government not fixing the real problems. I guess the only issue I have is that you only stated problems with the extreme right using your work, when the extreme left is just as bad. There is no political party for people who are left or right moderates and thus we end up voting for what is considered the lesser of two evils.

Ultimately, anyone on the extreme right or left should re-examine their beliefs. But there's a big difference between the two extremes. I think people on the far left are simply delusional idealists. Since the vast majority of them are pacifists, they pose little to no threat of ever resorting to organized violence. But right wing extremists have become so radicalized they now pose a serious extremely threat to everyone. People need to wake up and acknowledge it before it's too late. Unfortunately it won't happen as long as demagogues like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity have a open mic.

Thank you for the interesting conversation, but I guess we will just have to agree to disagree. I believe the extreme left is just as dangerous or more dangerous to American society than the extreme right (even if I do disagree with many things going on in the right) but I guess your opinion, just like mine, is colored my which side of the center we fall on. No one falls exactly into the center everyone is at least a little right or a little left of it. I tend to fall just to the right of it. It might have something to do with my background. Once again thank you and great work. I look forward to seeing more of your work and maybe a few more interesting conversations.

Well, thanks for the compliment on my work!
I say I'm in the middle because I think both major parties are wrong on just about everything. I tend to lean right on issues like immigration, gun rights, military funding and personal taxes. But I lean left on issues like employment, corporate regulation and taxation and social services. Neither party has the answers, both are lying when they claim they do. I fear the left because they're incredibly naive and misguided. While some may have the right intention, they think raising individual taxes and throwing money at problems are the answers to everything. I fear the right because they've become hypocritical demagogues who think making the ultra-rich wealthier is the only answer to every problem. Most are self-serving, habitual liars who are morally, ethically, spiritually and patriotically bankrupt. So I can't support either side.
However... unlike other major political groups, conservatives and republicans embrace and pander to religious, racial and economic extremists. While they don't openly advocate it, they do give a wink and nod towards violent extremism. So regardless of what I think about them politically, this makes them very, very dangerous. Through Fox News and right wing radio, they are pushing the country towards another Oklahoma City / domestic terrorism event. Or a violent attack on a church, temple, mosque, school or cultural center. Then when it happens, they'll denounce it and deny they instigated or condoned the violence. Like a pit bull owner who trains the dog to attack, then denies any responsibility when someone is finally hurt or killed.
People on the right love talking about "personal responsibility". Well... it's time to walk the walk. If there are any reasonable or responsible people remaining on the right, they need to step up and work to end the fear-mongering and misinformation before it's too late.

Reminds of that guy who burned down a MOSQUE saying "Fox news done got me RILED UP!"
[link]
[link]
"After setting fire to the prayer room of a mosque in Ohio on September 30th, Randolph Linn of Indiana today pleaded guilty to the crime.Under the terms of his plea deal, Linn will cut his 40-year jail sentence in half. The St. Joe resident, who brought several firearms and gas containers with him to the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo, told Judge Jack Zouhary he had become "riled up" after watching Fox News.Linn also said he had been drinking heavily prior to driving his truck to the mosque, consuming as many as 45 beers in seven hours."
I NEVER HEARD of LIBERAL NEWS getting anyone "RILED UP" so as to commit this kind of act nearly so often as conservative views. They have inspired far more lone wolf killers, etc. But there are nuts EVERYWHERE.
Hiding among us.....

I just don't get why Adobe can't make Illustrator more user friendly, like Photoshop. Many of the functions and concepts are exactly the same, yet they are so hard to understand and use in Illustrator. Jesus... I've taken a 6 month Illustrator course at the School of Visual Arts and I still can't figure out how to do simple stuff!
