This is a rather profound, a very powerful capture. I sort of feel some seclusion and past vulnerabilities and a possible transformation, a metamorphosis, if you will. It seems as though the calm before the storm amidst his contemplation. This one is really powerful and draws me in as a viewer, it's quite thought provoking

WOW! I really love the way she captured me here! I immediately thought sculpture in the color (lack of) and stillness. Definitely vulnerable, as all my work is, and she did a beautiful job capturing that in me! I'm very shy, and self-conscious, but she was able to minimize that in these. I love that you think it's profound, and powerful, that really means a lot! I'm very happy with this one also.

She always seems to get a great capture I thought sculpture as well, there are always a variety of interpretations that come to mind with each piece of this series. I just try to express what it is that I first felt and saw upon my first glance of it. It is really profound and powerful, as is each piece of this series. They are all very profound and powerful. I love your new photos. They are getting better and better!
The ones you posted after this are better than this, but it's easier for me to comment on this one.
I just want to say it's a great piece as it is....it's emotive in a gentle way...like you're crouched because you feel cold and sad, and maybe pensive too.
I thought that it could catch the eye more if the contrast of the whole picture be emphasized a little bit, and the light of the sky be darkened a bit, while the light on your body stays as it is or perhaps lighter.

Thank you dear, with all my heart! It's much easier having a photographer, especially one like Michelle who really brought out the best in me! You can far more than if you're only able to do self-portraits. It was a honor to with her!

I think vulnerable, but I see what you mean. They're not "happy" images, but there is also a sense of contentment in them at the same time. I love this, i posed she yelled don't move, and caught this. The editing is entirely her, and I think she wanted to keep it subtle. I'll pass your idea on and see what she thinks!
