Description Finally posting the last of the MotoGP photo's from Indy last year...

This was only one of a couple decent photo's I was able to get of Shoya Tomizawa at Indianapolis. Taken during a Friday practice as he, Raffaele de Rosa, and Mike di Meglio exit turn 15.

Shoya Tomizawa (December 10, 1990 – September 5, 2010) was an amazing young and upcoming racer. After a successful career in Japan he graduated to MotoGP and competed in the 250cc class in 2009. In 2010, he raced in the newly created Moto2 class where Shoya won the first race of the new class, at Losail in Qatar.

He was tragically killed during the San Marino Grand Prix of Italy on September 5, the weekend after the Indianapolis round.

He would have turned 20 in December, You'll be missed, dearly!

At least he got to die in a sport that's excitingly beautiful and to go out in a kind of ecstasy. He had more thrilling experiences than most of us have had even by the time we're old.

It's realy a pity that someone dies on such a young age. He could have been more now if he still was alive, but I'm sure he did inspire a lot of his fans to keep on going what they love to do and that is racing or following motorraces and enjoying every second of the adrenaline and joy it gives them.

And great shot! I realy like the action and they all are so pretty in a row. You realy can see how they move their body and cycle into that turn to keep their balance.

It really is Isle, and he would have, he had the respect of so many other racers that he not only competed with, but looked up also. I know he inspired me in life, and my memories of seeing him both in person and on TV will forever be unforgettable!

Aww... Thank you, I love that you like it, and yes seeing the way they use their body with their bike is absolutely amazing! It is something that has to be seen to be really appreciated what kind of skill these people have. If you have not been, you should definitely try to see a race Isle. I am not sure how far you are from Assen, but they race there.

It is so wonderful to hear from you again, I really missed you dear! Your Rossi drawing looks amazing , it is coming along beautifully!

Thank you, and my name isn't Isle, but Ilse . I'm not like Indonesia lol.
I didn't see a race like that in real life, because I don't know any people who go to watch such things except that one guy that I am making that drawing for. Maybe I'll try to check it out in the future. I'm actualy not such a fan of any type of sports, but I think for one time it will be amazing.

I am so sorry Ilse, for mis-spelling it, I know it is and did not mean to!
I don't really like sports either, motorcycle racing is one of the few I pay attention to, it is unlike anything else. I often go to races alone, partly because I have no one to go with either but also because I am free to do what I want without having to worry about schedules or making others happy. If I could ever, I would certainly take you! And if you go to see one though, bring EARPLUGS, the motorcycles are very loud!

Have a lovely day and I hope to hear from you again soon Ilse!

It is indeed! At least he did doing what he loved and drove him, if that counts for anything. Thank you Murphy, that means a lot! He was one of my favorite racers and I'm happy that I was able to see him race in person, if only ever once.
