Pretty cool as always!
I imagine this would contain the Windows, Mac and DOS versions just as the 1995 reissue disc did (and the Humongous Classics Collection.)
Thanks to them including the DOS version, I got to see what it'd look and sound like in the original version (as I initially grew up with the Windows version, but apart from the MIDI music and the large yellow cursors and disable twinkle/flashing animations and a few missing sound effects, nothing else was changed from the CD-ROM DOS version to the Windows version.) ScummVM seems to handle the DOS version's music better, making it a bit more similar to the Windows version...

Thanks! I personally think it would be cool if this version was used for a hi-def Special Edition similar to the HD versions of Monkey Island 1 + 2. Maybe use the original art assets, put in the original masters of the music, etc.

Maybe the music could sound like the stereo versions I uploaded here...

So playing the game would not be in the animation shown on the cover would it? Though I'm thinking about making some games where Putt-Putt has to go back to the moon. And I'm expecting them to be of this animation.

I think I understand your question. All versions of Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon use and older DOS style of graphics, seeing as how the games were originally developed for DOS. Since they only got around to releasing Putt Moon in Russia during the mid-2000s, using either of the box arts they had created for the game originally would have looked very out of place compared to the other Russian editions. Basically, they just drew a snazzy new background, took a newer promotional artwork and photoshopped a space helmet on Pep. You'd probably have a rather large task ahead of you creating new animations for Putt-Putt.

Did you actually draw Putt-Putt here, or is it actually a promo pic from Humongous Entertainment or something?

It's a promo picture that Humongous made in the late 90s-early 00s, onto which they photoshopped a space helmet for Pep. For the most part, all I did was touch up the parts that I had to erase when I was getting rid of the Russian text, plus I put the Atari logo on the upper edge. (Originally it was Akella spelled in Russian.)
