Imaginitvely titled /\I got the idea from thinking of what Warhammer 40,000 Necron tomb world could look like. Very lifeless and mechanical, yet with a malevolent energy.
I've rather got into space art on photoshop, the moon texture is from a website that I forgot the name of... The rest is all original

Awesome! If you want another Necropolis planet idea, check the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook, background section, orks, campaign map. There's a picture of a necron world.

*grins* frigging cool. though I sorta imagine that the C'tan would demand some symbols visible from space if they actually deigned for a world to be a Necron one instead of just whiping out the living and sending them back to their tombs.

Sounds like a world which would almost explode, or be in the warp. A Necron Tomb world would be a totally lifeless world, personally I envision Necron worlds to be more "dead" as in comepletely desolate with nothing happening what so ever, untill you wake them up...

In this picture the Necrons are in statis in tombs on the twin moons. The planet itself is a ball of plasma or sometihng, the Necrontyr probably built their tombs on the moons in reverence to the power within the planet. It would probably lie undiscovered somewhere on the fringes of the galaxy.
