"Heeya!" screamed Izzy as she crouched down and prepared to leap.

"You foolish girl; you battle me to a standstill and then when you have the faintest glimmer of stopping me you waste it with a jumping kick," taunted Mal as he took a half step back.

"Pretty much," giggled Izzy as she leapt into the air and prepared to strike.

"Then you're as much of an imbecile as your friend in the green shirt," said Mal as he raised both his arms and placed them into a defensive position. "While I'm ready to block, a jump kick will only knock me back 3 steps and you'll be prone in front of me, ready for my counterattack."

"Why do you think I'm only 2 steps behind you," said Noah as Izzy's kick connected with Mal's defensive block sending him back 1 step.

Mal gasped as he turned his head slightly to catch a glimpse of Noah crouching on all fours behind him. Realization dawned as his momentum took him back another step so his leg was flush against Noah's body.
