Next up for July!! Second of two pictures today!!

Sketched on paper, flat color in SAI. Next picture in a series I'm doing, drawing the kids from mine and Gem's RP a year to the day they were first used, got it? Good!

I say first used. This will be the case MOST of the time. There are a few instances where the kids are born and it's stated that they're born, but for one reason or another they aren't used until a later day. If that happens I'll be posting them on the day that they are BORN. If they're used the first time on a different day then I'll state that in the description, or on the picture itself.

Bio time!!

Full name: Victoria (non-titled)
Parents: James and Olympia, Ratar of Bond (Adoptive Father)
Siblings: Older half-brother, Lormin, Older brother, Cliff

Agh, you know that saga with Rin and Val? XD Man the places it's gone...only this time we're exploring the more negative side of it. We all know Cliff is the one that fathered Val's children, all from Lilith to Josiah. Around the time we had Josiah and Eva and Valarie all being born, we expanded on Cliff's back story as well. Victoria's birthday was pretty significant in a lot of ways, which I'll get to in a minute.

Basically we explored what happened to Cliff and his back story and...as hard as it is to feel anything besides disdain for him what we came up with was pretty interesting. His parents were James and Olympia. Olympia it turned out was a Guardian that somehow got snatched up by a mortal, and thus Cliff was born. James was pretty abusive, and Cliff, on the other hand, was a sweet child. He sticks up for his mother and defends her, and she loves her son dearly.

...doesn't sound like him does it? XD Not at all. Things change for the worst when Cliff suffers a horrible fall, damaging his brain, and causing a drastic personality switch that causes him to lose affection for his mother and become estranged from her. James pounces on this, and starts grooming his son to be no better than he is. Olympia, having lost her son and dealing with James' abuse and countless mistresses, just keeps her head down and stays the "good" wife.

We all know what happens to Cliff. As his illness gets worse and he descends deeper into madness, he forgets about his parents, becoming confined by his plans with Val and their children and oblivious to all else. It isn't until after he's captured that his mind is awoken to all this. Zero, Yuu, and Omega work together to heal the damage, although his personality is forever altered, and yet this is enough to cause him to not only remember his parents, but go back to the side of his mother.

They find them with Olympia pregnant with her second child, but still abused and oppressed. Cliff is non-chalant with his father, glazed over with apathy but covering fury. It pretty much ends with Cliff tearing his father's throat out, killing him to free his mother. He's proved he'll never be who he once was, but he'll do what he can to make things as easy on his mother as possible.

He's just...disconnected from all feelings short of rage and apathy. He's accepted to be someone that just lives in darkness.

It's Val that takes to caring for Olympia initially. Olympia's heartbroken, and even angry at Cliff for what he let happen, but the kids come together and try to help comfort her. She's probably the closest to little Vicky, which helps inspire the name for her baby daughter.

More back story comes from finding out Olympia was once in a romantic relationship with Ratar of Bond, the two even raising Lormin like a son. When Beledin is starting to become corrupt, Olympia wants the three of them to flee, but Ratar says he has to stay and help deal with the problem. This causes a rift between them, and it's how Olympia winds up with James, and Ratar raises Lormin alone until Lormin dies, and Ratar is slain by Beledin later.

Lormin of course is revived, and Ratar, hurting for Olympia comes around to try and help, but at first she's not wanting it and lashes out at him out of pain. However despite surrendering his element to Lormin upon his death he reveals he still has power of Bonds, and his strongest is with her.

Cliff doesn't want him around at all and accuses him of letting his mother wind up in such a bad position. Things are eventually soothed over but Cliff keeps some resentment there, even after Ratar's allowed to live again and he and Olympia rekindle their love. Lormin starts to see Cliff like a brother and teases him per regulation XP

As of now, Ratar and Olympia are expecting their first blood child...remember Lormin was fashioned from Light. Not the holy light Arandor came from, but just light, so Lormin's not their blood son.

Anyway, the day Victoria is born Olympia struggles with the delivery...this is largely due to injuries she suffered while with James, and to everyone's horror Victoria is born not breathing, strangled by the cord. Talinia works feverishly to revive her and it almost seems like all is lost, but eventually a small wail escapes her. By some divine blessing, she survives.

And I MIGHT have the timeline mixed up I don't think Ratar and Olympia get romantically involved again until after Victoria's been born and around for awhile...otherwise he'd be there while Victoria was being born and instead it's just Val supporting Olympia. ...lol just know that they are together and expecting a child now.

On that day that Victoria is born, one final link in the family shows up. Little Vicky, through some horrific accident that came from the abuse on her actually winds up conceiving a child...it's one of those freak incidents that should have never happened...Cliff responds to this by removing the child and...like Valarie, keeping it for his own amusement. (I told you he's loathsome DX)

This little baby is a girl named Katie, and once again due to divine intervention, she's taken out of Cliff's grasp and given to Nyx, a Guardian that isn't romantically involved, and is sort of an underling to Athena the Weaver. She raises Katie, and the first time Vicky's older siblings see the little girl is the day Victoria is born.

This isn't Katie's actual birthday but I felt like mentioning it for book-keeping.

Anyway, Victoria looks largely like her mother, although she and Cliff both get their father's brown eyes. On the other hand, Cliff is a clone of his father mostly, getting the blue hair from Olympia but not much else. I know I've never colored Cliff but I have colored Clyde, though I've never posted him, and sadly poor Clyde is a clone of them as well XD Victoria's a happy child and very sweet, calling her big brothers Ciffy and Lolly, giving them something else to jeer at each other over. Ratar's taken the baby girl into his heart and raised her as his own.

cliff's not changed much in a year but Olympia's definitely been happier, which is what's important.

Yeah Cliff is trash XD I find it hard to RP with him because he's so...bad XD But it's made for quite the stories lol
