Awh, look at my title trying to make it seem all deep.
Making it seem like the lantern is some kind of homage to hope for the future or something.
It could be if you want to interpret it that way, I just kinda see it as a requested drawing.

The lineart for this took maybe 3 hours.
Lantern coloring was 30 minutes all its own.
Coloring? I don\'t even know. I took several breaks. One of the breaks included drawing a completely different thing.

I don\'t slack off on my requests, man. I deliver.
My shading and stuff actually looks decent, too.
