The story:
Rex Salazar is a stubborn teenager. He refuses to give up, even when he's technically helpless, even if his EVO powers are blocked, even if he is facing sadistic psychopath who has killed many people to get him, even if this man resembles his older brother.
"Cabrón!" He yells as his last attempt to rebel.
In sudden motion, Caesar quickly grabs his jaw. Rex squirms at the sudden contact. But after a while since his grip doesn't loosen, Rex let his arm down while his fist is alert, ready to strike.
“Pórtate bien…”Caesar hushes menacingly. “Is that a way to talk to your brother?”
“You’re not my brother.” Rex says it.
It’s a truth that this Caesar refuses to believe. Caesar tightens his grip, digging his finger until he can slightly felt Rex’s teeth under his skin. Rex grits his teeth. He doesn’t want to wince.
Caesar releases Rex’s jaw. Even though his hands have murdered many people, his brother instinct wins over….not in healthy way. He needs this Rex alive and unhurt.
“I will be…eventually.”
“You won’t.” Rex growls.
“Oh, you will believe that.” He says it with confidence, “Trust me.”
