The Crystal Sage boss fight was the one that I took the most tries to beat.
22 tries!
For comparison, I only took 4 tries with Pontiff Sulyvahn.

Did I read this correctly?
Pontiff Sulyvahn took you 4 tries.
Crystal Sages... 22

I just now noticed that you drew this as well.

But yes.
Pontiff Sulyvahn took me four tries, though to be fair, I got so pissed that I buffed the fuck out of my character, switched to my backup weapon, the great scythe, buffed the fuck out of it. Equipped a shield, and went in.
I did the impossible, parried his leap and then riposted him. Two hits. You can find videos similiar to what I did on YouTube.

But yes, the Crystal Sage and fuckass High Lord Wolnir took me the most tries out of any bosses.

Yes, isn't it, MAGICAL?

So you couldn't handle a magician with clones who could die in one hit?
Guess you could say that you clearly weren't a faith build as you lacked FAITH in yourself. And you clearly needed a faithful Cleric at your side, to spawn the thing you needed: A MIRACLE.
But that thing I like about the Sage fight is that since he's got clones who aren't real, and he's a magician of sorts, it's a game of WITCH one do you need to kill? Get it? Witch, magic, sorcery LOL.
... yeah I'll throw myself in the pool now.

No.

Well, I didn't have much in the way of magic absorption.

... maybe.

Chaos is associated with fire, and pyromancy is never as powerful as hexes. And then of course there's dark pyromancyΒ

These are all things that I do not possess adequate knowledge on, Comrade Commissar.

This Inquisitor requires more information regarding these entities.

Just a good jape comrade. It's a high level Dungeons and dragons encounter. An undead god in the shape of a planet. It has legions of undead that need to be killed before you can slay it's Aspect which causes it to leave. It's pretty difficult, but not the hardest thing out there.

That's just the title, and the most common form of adventure. There is so much more if you choose to find it.

It's like Dark Souls with it's lore.

Dare to scratch under the surface? You'll find a bounty of hidden story and speculation for you to find.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Hazard-Trooper In reply to Rexlare [2016-10-22 05:57:44 +0000 UTC]

Sorta yes. A lot of the story depends on how good you DM is.

Hazard-Trooper In reply to Rexlare [2016-10-22 06:00:23 +0000 UTC]

Yes, I myself have made a few dungeons and maps. Though there are pre-built maps, stories, characters, and dungeons to use.

Yes there are guides and guest books you can use.

The only thing like that in Dark Souls is the item descriptions.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Hazard-Trooper In reply to Rexlare [2016-10-22 06:10:58 +0000 UTC]

True, but with Dark souls you have an assurance that the lore is thought out and planned.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Rexlare In reply to Hazard-Trooper [2016-10-22 06:19:11 +0000 UTC]

... no... no you don't...

When Dark Souls 1 came out, fans speculated that Solaire of Astora was the long lost first born of Gwyn Lord of Cinder.

Several years later, suddenly the Nameless King shows up, being officially declared as the first born... this guy just pops up out of the fuck nowhere, suddenly being paid off as the real first born.

... doesn't feel planned to me. More like Miyazahki trolling the shit out of the fans.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Hazard-Trooper In reply to Rexlare [2016-10-22 06:21:40 +0000 UTC]

Just because something isn't stated doesn't mean it wasn't planned. Theory crafting is purely speculation.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Rexlare In reply to Hazard-Trooper [2016-10-22 06:27:52 +0000 UTC]

Yes, but after several years of the nameless king not even existing and he suddenly pops up waving his arms saying "I'M GWYN'S SON BITCHES!!!"

It doesn't seem planned what so ever.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Hazard-Trooper In reply to Rexlare [2016-10-22 06:34:12 +0000 UTC]

It's funny because up until now I haven't really done graphite work in a very long time... I'm starting to like it a bit more than my marker works though...Β

even if it is a pain in the ass when the graphite is on the side of you hand.
