I just awesome that after he puts the hat on that it just fuses itself to links skull.
Because no matter what happens in the games (fighting dragons, riding birds, falling from the sky, drowning, getting hit with massive winds, etc...) it never comes off! So purple link being able to pull red link by his hat seems (relatively) realistic.
