Shroud of Turin. Ink, conte on rice paper. I'm getting together some reference work and ideas for a series on religious correlations in ideologies and perhaps regress to denunciate their transgressions โฆwell, in a nutshell. Thought I might do a shroud intertwining all.....just brainstorming at the moment. This piece is just experimenting with an approach I might take.Related content

You know I love the concept of religious comentary in art and this is is a great start hon, i am really excited to see what you come up with, thats half the fun hey, playing, experimenting, wondering what strange tangents our curious little creative minds will take us

It would be funner if I didn't have to type a proposal for my ideas (for next week) which are just a mish-mosh of all different approaches. The concept I decide on has to sustain me for 6 months as a 'minor studio practice'. The more choices I have, the more difficult decision making becomes...I can paint, collage, sculpt, install, anything. My theme can be anything but I've narrowed it down to..'differences in religions','similarities in religions','freedom of speach in religions'. See my avi?...that's how I'm feeling.

It's good to see old faces again. I caught up with Laura yesterday, she misses you lots. I'm totally happy to be back. I'm only doing three subjects so there's less pressure.

Thanks man. Like I said, it is an experiment. Shouldn't really be in the Gallery, should be in scraps, oh well. Next time I don't think I'll use conte, just coloured ink and water, see what happens.
