Description
  Angel closed the door as he left Alvis's room. He leaned on the door with the back of his head on the cold, hard wood and sighed. Another rejection. He should be used to it now but every insult and "no" stung his heart more and more. He couldn't even justify why he's still chasing after Alvis when he could be going after so many other people. Hell, he has thousands of girls that wouldn't be as cruel as Alvis who want to marry him right now. So why? Why is his heart still singing for Alvis?

  Angel rubbed his face, not knowing what to do now. Keep asking Alvis over and over for a date until he finally gives in? This was his 7th time, surely results wouldn't change if he were to ask the 8th, 9th or 10th time. 'Maybe I should give up,' Angel thought for the millionth time since he was first rejected. This time, however, he was certain of it. He'll just have to break the news to Alvis somehow, not that he would care...

Angel shook his head and stood up straight. Maybe some time in his room should clear his head. He did have a lot of fan letters to catch up on-

Thump

Before he could take a step away from Alvis's door, he swore he heard some noise from the other side. Angel stopped and stared at the door. There was silence for a while before there was a loud 'thunk' sound, followed by something falling to the ground. "Alvis?" Angel called, reaching out to open the door. More like fling it open.

As soon as Angel stepped in, the first thing he saw was the small, pathetic bundle in the corner of the room. Alvis. His legs pulled up to his chest and his hands covering his head while lying on his side. He was shaking with his tail in between his legs. "Alvis! What happened?! Are you okay?" Angel asked, rushing over to his friend to help if he was hurt. Even if he couldn't win his heart, he still considered him a dear friend.

Alvis raised his head as soon as Angel came close, his eyes streaming with tears as he looked up at him. "A-Angel..." His face was bruised like someone punched him. His eyes were full of fear and sorrow.

He suddenly grabbed Angel by the shoulder and buried his face in the blood angel's chest, his voice catching on his tears as he tried to speak, "Angel, I-I..."He couldn't find the right words, "P-please, d-don't leave me... please, please, d-don't..."

He couldn't hold back any longer. He started to sob, the gross, loud and embarrassing kind. He was completely terrified by whoever or whatever attacked him just now. Angel was shocked by the turn of events but he didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around the young man. This was entirely out of character from the Alvis he knew but he didn't care. After seeing this side of Alvis, weak, vulnerable but quite adorable in a way, Angel's heart was yet again set towards Alvis's. He can never give up now that he knows that someone hurt Alvis. He'll be his knight in shining armour.

  "I won't" Angel replied, then after a pause, he added, "I promise."

Alvis continued to bawl, his body shaking from crying and after shock from the fear.

  And through it all, Angel held Alvis close.

Cheesy story to go with this but I'm writing this at 11:30 pm cut me some slack XD
