At a hulking 7'2" , and immensely strong, was a member of the villain group called Scourge (Bazer, Manta (deceased), Velvet, Silverlance, and later, Fortress and Varmint). Turned evidence against his former teammates and was defended in court by Frostfire of the Summit Alliance. Went into witness relocation and criminal rehabilitation, even working for the Avant Guardians for a time, but wasn't intelligent enough to avoid giving away his identity and later attempted to return to a life of crime as Black Angus.
