Description While most of my work focuses on my established "headliners", occasionally it's nice to touch on a character I haven't drawn in ages. In this case it's Archeologist, Luis Ruiz aka Horizon. Similarly to Valiant and his cast, Horizon is a space faring hero, empowered by a godlike alien. In this case he received his powers from the enigmatic entity, Kukulkan.

Well, he's a Terran archeologist who unearthed an artifact at a South American pyramid that brought him into contact with Kukulkan. The alien liked what he saw in Luis's character and empowered him to be the explorer of his dreams. It just so happens these abilities are also really handy against super-villains.
