You think you can recall someone calling you something. It sounded like kite or Kit maybe. You try to recall something else but it's like trying to peer through a fog bank. The harder you try the denser it gets. You place a paw on your face and growl a little to yourself feeling a tingling in your fur grow a little. This is ridiculous. You shouldn't be wasting time trying to remember something that clearly isn't there. You should be figuring out where you are or find a town or something. You slam a paw down as you get up unleashing a small wave of sparks. You freeze where you stand watching the sparks bounce off the pond sending ripples through the water. You hold up your paw and study it. Concentrating you feel the tingling again as a small spark flies off your paw. You grin ecstatically. You didn't know you could do that or perhaps you did know and you forgot. What else can you do. You look around the clearing again finally spotting an old rotted stump. You crouch down and slink toward it. Time to find out.
