This was inspired by a modern piano piece that i had just finished learning 8D It was called "I Leap Through the Sky With Stars" by Alexina Louie. It was a very different piece of music and genre that i had ever played in my career and i , at first , admit , HATED the song with a passion because it sounded so obscure and atonal :I But you know , weeks later and after much practice, i came to love the piece, after picking at it and seeing into the emotion that filled it . I performed this piece at the Canadian Contemporary Showcase and received a scholarship today for my performance ~ <3__<3 so i decided to personify the song . i think i'm beginning to understand contemporary piano music a little more nao ."I Leap Through the Sky With Stars" is a contrasting piece . It has so many different elements in it and i think that's what really made me choose how to design this girl . The piece is beautiful and elegant, gentle and soft , yet harsh and wild ( beast - like almost ) . I tried to portray that OTL . 8D ?
hurrhurr anddd yeah. i also tried "lineless" art for once . it's SO HARD Q__Q i was like . DYING . the whole time and had to resist the very strong urge of wanting to quit and colour this anime style . o A o ; ; ;

I play piano too, but I could never get a scholarship for it. As soon as I try to play in front of an audience-more-than-2, I tense up and everything turns into this racing monstrosity to the ear... ==;
