AFTER FOUR YEARS PROCRASTINATING I have finally painted a portrait of my one and only course-mate she was desperately asking for.My prom is set on tomorrow and it'll be the last day we see each other. I'm gonna print it and present her the canvas, singing 'SOPHIA SAYS, SOPHIA DOES'.

Hey, at least you finished the piece you meant to do four years ago. I have five-year old WIPs sitting around gathering dust that I keep promising to complete while knowing I never will.
This is such an amazing portrait! I mean, all your portraits are amazing, but this is really beautiful. I love how you create the shapes and lighting you need from the dapples of different coloured paint - individually, they'd be random splashes, but together, they create form and texture and light. And her eyes are really vivid!
