Description An OC from 'Black Velvet', my Nightingale-themed TES story. Malena, the Dunmer-Redguard halfblood, used to be a friend and a lover of Dralsi Indoril before she joined the Thieves Guild and married the Guildmaster; now, when Guild is ruled by Gallus Desidenius and Dralsi's daughter have already reached maturity, she comes back to Riften, seeking revenge for that what happened between them twenty years ago. Dralsi possesses something that's not hers; Malena wants it back. One of them shall die: the only question is, who it will be.

WHY I have this obsession with minor half-blood characters??

Wow, she looks so mysterious and beautiful. Half-bloods are always fascinating, and I just love her design - those magnificent slanted crimson eyes, and the frizzy hair... I love that red scarf, too, it adds a splash of colour to a painting that might otherwise be a little too dark, and brings out Malena's eyes wonderfully.
And her story sounds pretty interesting too. Can't wait to find out more!

Thanks so much! I've got a whole load of halfbloods, most of them having unique eyes. As I pointed out below, Malena carries a bit of Jimmy into Tamriel. What about her design, I was intending to make her something like an Isabela of Morrowind (dangerous wanderer with lots of occasional affairs, dark-skinned, wears gold), but her clothes were supposed to be red instead of blue. And now what? I can't get rid of an image of Bethany looking at this picture.
I adore her story, too. Malena/Dralsi is my (finally) major femslash OTP, so I wouldn't mind writing some OC memes or even a ficlet. But he plays quite a significant role in what happens next in 'Black Velvet', and I have one of my readers dwelling here, so... spoilers... I can't let her down, can I? :/

As someone with a few Redguard/Dunmer OCs, I greatly approve of this! She is so beautiful (if obviously dangerous), and I especially love how you drew her hair!

Aw, thanks! Redguards are cool, aren't they? Drawing all these curls was soo boring that I'd just slapped a lot of fluffy brushes all along her hair, so it was in fact too easy. And of course, Malena is freaking dangerous. A person (even a TES person) who looks this much like Jimmy Boy can not simply be a cute cinnamon roll.

That was actually unintentional, but I don't mind if these too look similar in terms of facial structure. It's all about the eyes: the Dummer usually have noticeable eyelids, but I thought, 'hey she would look good with an Asian lid fold'. Literally a dark elf with an epicanthus. I regret nothing.

Heh, some of the Dunmer architecture in ESO looks a lot like the old castles in Kyoto, so an Asia-inspired Dunmer could be quite viable.
