Beautiful work, just as always! I adore the contrasts of light and colour - the warm glow on the cathedral merging with the darkness around her, the reddish glow on her hair, the blueish light where her face falls into shadow, the mottling of orange and blue in the sky... this is really atmospheric and striking.

Oh, thank you so much! I'm reviewing all what I painted in 2017 (spoiler: NOT MUCH), and this is my most-favourite work number two (number one is Karliah, of course). I put a real lot of sense into this picture; it's now so strange to me how I even managed to create something that... intense. A burning cathedral and the Antichrist (I literally painted the girl as a devil, just look her in the eyes), who blows up the faith and walks away with no regret...
Damn. WHY IS EVERY SINGLE SIGNIFICANT PERSON IN MY LIFE SO FOND OF BURNING DOWN CHURCHES?
