My new OC, guys!

Actually, this character underwent a couple of redesigns. And now, I think I'm satisfied with the result.

Back Story:

Katchanya was born and raised in a tribe called Iringalopa in the southern part of Alikadoka, a huge enchanted forest. This tribe is also referred to as the Cat tribe due to characteristics and features that uncannily resemble those of a forest cat.

As a child and being the only daughter of the tribe chief, she was already trained and exposed to different forms of martial arts. On her 16th birthday, her father gave her a red Katana which was forged by a goddess of the forest. During the feast, a golden basket was offered to her by one of the guards. No one knew who sent it. When she opened the basket, a black snake leaped towards her without warning and instinctively bit her. It was then discovered that the gift was a treacherous gesture of war by a long-time enemy, the Halasongko tribe or otherwise known as the Snake tribe of Alikadoka. The reptile that bit Katchanya wasn't venomous, but it is known to bring a curse. The elders immediately performed a series of ancient enchanments to deflect the curse. But it was too late. Immediately, almost instantly, she developed an ugly transformation: extra rattle snake's tail on the back of her head, venom-filled claws, and scaly green skin.

War broke out immediately that lasted for years. Unfortunately, Katchanya's people lost. Many died including her family. She was spared and brought in a dungeon where prisoners from other tribes were held captives as well. There, she met a young vampire named Lestal. They developed an intimate connection and eventually fell in love with each other. One day, the leader of the tribe, a warlord who was obsessed with human butchery, ordered the guards to release the prisoners only to engage in a fight-to-the death battle that is held every full moon of the month. Both Katchanya and Lestal managed to survive. But one prisoner made a surprise attack at Katchanya and plunged a dagger into her back. Lestal was able to kill him before he could inflict further injuries to her. Not allowing her to die, Lestal decisively bit her in hope that transforming her into a vampire will revive her. But it wasn't enough. She lost too much blood and only a faint of life was left in Katchanya. He realized he had no other choice but to transfer all his life force to her. This cost him his life. A sacrifice he willingly made for Katchanya.

At that moment, the process had not taken effect yet on Katchanya as it would only do so after 24 hours. So, the tyrant chief, thinking they were all dead, commanded the guards to dispose all the bodies into an underground cave nearby.

One night had passed, and Katchanya woke up hungry. For the first time, she thirsted for human blood. She was now transformed into a vampire with the strength and intelligence of Lestal. Moreover, she has a new transfiguration - she had reverted back to her old feline features except the snake tail on her head; paler skin; and a set of deep black eyes - and discovered a new found abilities and powers. But most importantly, a part of Lestal's soul was now in union with her.

With the discovery of the death and sacrifice of her love, she was now determined to defeat the enemy. Blinded with vengeance for her family, her people, and her Lestal, using her red Katana that her father gave her, she attacked the tribe with utter rage. She killed and drank all the blood of the Halasongkos except women and children. She had a final duel with the tribe chief, and eventually, Katchanya defeated him and cut off his head.

Thereafter, she sworn to protect the innocents especially the oppressed, and became a vigilante known as Vampusa (derived from the words: Vampire, pusa (Filipino term for cat), and Medusa).

Powers and Abilities:
- Able to pass through solid objects for a few minutes
- She has a set of claws that can deliver lethal venom
- Able to detect and clearly visualize heat signatures at night time
- She doesn't grow old, but being a part vampire, she must constantly drink blood.
- As opposed to most vampires, she is completely invulnerable to sunlight
- She possesses a heightened healing factor
- She can perform limited hypnotism to ordinary human beings
- She is a very skilled ninja and has mastered different forms of martial arts
- When threatened, provoked, or agitated, the thin rattle snake tail attached to the back of her head creates a rattling sound. This also serves as a warning device whenever there is danger nearby.
- She can fuse herself to anyone's shadows including animals.
- She is able to shapeshift into a white cat when at least one or two cats are present in the perimeter.
- Even though she has vampire nature, her bite won't turn the victim into vampire, instead, it will only kill the person instantaneously because of the venom.

Weapon:
- A red Katana which goes sharper and sharper every time its blade touches fresh blood.
