To focus on the future so much,You lose sight of the present.
Running towards a goal
but never really reaching it.
Stepping back
for your former self,
your former state,
just to find out
it's no longer there.
Pacing through time,
back and forth
like a pendulum.
Stuck in time,
trapped
in perpetual motion.
Ensnared by;
the cycle of life,
a cycle of love.
Destined to be;
with a purpose(?)
