Description Wikipedia : Pan-Germanism (German : Pangermanismus or Alldeutsche Bewegung) is a pan-nationalist  political idea . Pan-Germanists originally sought to unify all the German-speaking populations of Europe  in a single nation-state  known as Greater Germany.

So i read a thing about french language in the world i think about it and i imagined this.

France asking about Pan Germanism and when he hears about it he decided to do the same thing and create the pan-francisme as there was a lot of territory outside europe I imagined it to be a pirate (besides on the bow I represented the Lower Normandy (reference to Norman)
source for this map : french speaker in the world

it's just a comic, so don't  take it seriously

I meant that if maps where based on culture, things would be strange.

No it's based on language
It's a joke this idea  came after a discussion on the Pan Germanism seen several countries have French as an official/co-official language

As a result, the Pan-English area is far more bigger ,and it is even bigger than Russia.

English is nearly the world's univeral language.
We Chinese study it in primary school , middle school, and university.

Rheinbund In reply to ChaircarMao [2015-04-17 16:39:58 +0000 UTC]

it will eventually change, I studied history I noticed that the universal language often changes over time , if you look carefully, you already see the first signs appear of decline of English

Yes but it's just the technological breakthroughs that have allowed that.if we had the same technological level as XIXE, I'm sure that many countries don't speak English.

What's more,if the The age of discovery is lead by we Chinese,Japanese or any other kind of East Asian, maybe those Chinese-Tibet language would get popular globaly.

The difference is, Germans want the ethnical identic regions,
but you show the language regions united no matter which ethnicity^^
Except Africa is just a colony to get colonial material XD

Rheinbund In reply to Arminius1871 [2015-04-15 19:37:08 +0000 UTC]

yes, it's a part of the joke.
Germany when he talking about pan-Germanism he talks about a tribe (a commonality) , but France misunderstands this when Germany speaks about German it thinks at the tribe and not the language ^^ This is why i have shown France leave before germany begins to explain the concept.
For colonie yes and no, by exemple Algeria was considered like a French region; and when Charles de Gaulle abandoned this region people was trying to kill him and make a coup d'état.
after several of these regions have abandoned the French but some promote it and have an impressive number of people speaking French, and we think that in a few decades the vast majority of French speakers will be in Africa.
