Here's the finished piece of Looking Tiger ([link] ). It's a drawing based on a picture made by Eltasia ([link] ). She has some amazing photographs and I just wanted to draw one of those tigers! (I have asked her permission
) It's not exactly the same as the picture because I am not that good
and I didn't want to draw exactly the same.Materials:
Pencils: 2H, B, 8B, 2 types of aquarel pencils
Time: 5 hours I think...

Here kitty kitty kitty <3 This is great, I like that colours! I agree of your point, it's not the same, but it's only good thing, because there's no sense if the painting or drawing looks exactly same than original picture. We have a printer doing that job

Thanks! But there is this style called Hyper realism and it produces this extremely great drawings where you doubt if it actually is a photograph or a drawing.. There was a time I wanted to draw that style as well, but I've come to realise that this is more my style. So, thanks for the comment!

It's a style that really requires practise, but a different technique as well. It isn't just drawing li you and I do. There's this article here on deviantart ([link] ) that explains it very well and which I can really recommmend for a read!

OMG!! Those paintings and drawings!! Thats why it's "Hyper realism". And I almost believed that I've seen very realistic drawings.. But now, now I saw realistig work, very very very realistic! I'm jealous
