Description Soooooooooooooo I fell back into this fandom. Yup. I watched VHD Bloodlust yeeeeaaaaaaaars ago, loved it, but I quickly fell out of it again because I had no one to talk to about it, and I also... kinda really hated D back then, because he was Meier's enemy and I loved Meier and yes I really was that shallow. XD

BUT I remembered the movie like two weeks ago, watched it and now I'm once again completely and 100% obsessed and this time I'm not quitting! XD And I no longer hate D, quite the opposite.
I corrupted a friend too, made her watch it, and now she's obsessed as well *cackles*
I'm making my way through the books now because I could never get them before, and I will probably buy the mangas too at some point (though I already own the first volume)... and of course, fanart was necessary! And there will be more! I'm super excited for the new series ;___; I fell back into this fandom just in time <3333

And because someone in my apartment block wanted to see how I work and asked if I could record something, I figured I might as well record this pic. I've recorded my art process one before but that didn't include sketching and shading. This one does; blank canvas all the way to finished pic. My way of arting is nothing special, and I'm sure there are tons of ways I could things better or easier, but eh XD

Haha, I'm a little amused about the whole thing with Meyer of course.
He's my mom's favorite as well. c: (where as I'm just all D all the time)

I'm pretty intrigued on how you cel shaded with the fringe paint type... I'll have to try that some time.
Neve even considered giving it a try before.

I'm not sure what it is about Meier that I like so much. I'm usually way more into the... neutral chaotic type of characters and D kinda falls into that category. Though I'm pretty sure that Meier's awesome cape wings had something to do with it

Anyway! Thank you so much! <3 Yeah the video is a little long, but I didn't want to speed it up even more. Next time I think I'll just cut it into multiple videos or something. The length also kinda messed up the quality. This was an experiment in recording as well. But I'm really glad you liked it nonetheless ^___^

And yes, fringe is awesome <3

Nope. I haven't heard anything new about the VHD manga, since Volume 7 was released last year....even though I keep hoping it will reappear....

I was really lucky to get both of them for almost nothing (the movie book was free from a friend) and I found the Amano one in a comic book store for $30. No joke.

I will never ever find awesome stuff like that here in the Netherlands. And on the rare occasion it does show up in a comic book store it's imported and super expensive. I'm gonna have to move to America to get all the goodies XD
