So that actually would have allowed me to combine my digimon like I was going to and I wouldn't have needed to create a mega form.
I don't think I will though (assuming I'd even be allowed to) because the other two digimon I'd be fusing with already have their respective humans and other back-story related reasons.
Mabe I'll do an artwork of the things that happened before the challenge...

You can try reading the guidelines [link] we have and check under Digivolutions. Depending on which digivice you chose to register, it'll affect what Digimons you can use

-Warp Evo is ok, cause it's just a express way to digivolve but still follows the classic / base digivolution.
-Warp DNA Evo is not included, as Omegamon / Omnimon needs Wargreymon and MetalGarurumon in order to complete the digivolution.
-Armor Evo is not included, as it's a special stage and is not achievable in a normal way.
-Jogress Evo (DNA eve?) is not included, as you won't be able to add other Digimon into your team, thus you have no one to joggers with.
-Matrix Evo is tricky⦠Digimon will achieve Mega without actually Biomerging. Example: Renamon > Kyubimon > Taomon > Sakuyamon, this will go under "classic" evo and is achievable but the tamer will not biomerge with the Digimon.
-Spirit Evo is same as how matrix evolution here and if you are able to have them go through the classic digivolution line it will be accepted. Example: Flamon > Strikedramon > Skullsatamon > Beelzebumon is alright but since Agnimon / Kaisergreyon / Vritramon are all hybrid levels, they will not be included.
-Slide Evo, same application as Spirit Evo.
-Ancient Spirit Evo, so far the only Digimon that is the result of this digivolution is Susanoomon, same as Warp DNA Evo it required more than a regular Digimon to achieve, so this is also not included.
-Burst Mode is a special stage so they're not included.
As for Card Slash, you can do it for fun during the tournament but will not have any practical effect since we're not doing this over a wifi battle, lol.
If you wish to have more freedom in your digivolution line, simply go with Xros line since there's basically no real logic behind it and everything seems possible. Not to mention, your Agumon can Super Digivolve into AncientGreymon and still make perfect sense

This is kind of late, but I'd like to help. Don't think of DigiXros with levels, because it'll only confuse you. With DigiXros, you add other digimon to a base digimon, like lego blocks. The other digimon turn into armor and/or weapons for the base digimon.

Just a small question about the digivolution thingy. Can you go a bit based on the Digimon Frontier Digivolution but like it's first the tamer and the Rookie Digimon but when the Digimon should digivolve to Champion they both morph together and become the Champion form. Is that ok?
Otherwise I can just stick with normal Digivolution.

If you picked the classic Digivolution line, you won't be able to perform DigiXros because you are to follow the one partner for life rule, hence unable to add new Digimons to your group to Xros with.

I'll go for the traditional digivolving ones, that's for sure. That X-ros thing is a nice concept... But I think that they messed it up quite bad.

No, you choose when you create your app whether your partner uses Classic or Xros. The two are mutually exclusive, and no Digimon will have access to both.

Xros will be fighting classic, we're currently finalizing exactly how to mesh them in way that keeps things balanced and fun for all participants. Stay tuned to the group blogs for further details.

Yeah cause as I've seen on Xros wars, wros evolution forms are at least twice as strong as normal ones.

Yep, that's why we're working on it. Concerns have been raised about power levels, so please be assured that we'll have a concrete solution in the near future. Another important point is that as this is an art-based OCT, the exact levelling is less relevant than art skills; quality of drawing will trump digivolutionary stages.

I'm honestly not 100% sure on this one, but I would imagine that single-page splash art is the most common format of submissions, though comics and other similar art would likely also be acceptable.
