use pencils that are 5b upwards, be messy, and dont try to be perfect!! also try not to go down the manga path as thats what everyone here does

the only bad thing I could say is that his glasses seems not lined up with his eyes (but I could be wrong, optical illusion?)

Mate its pro, i love it. I always try and draw portraits but when ever i'm sketching so close up nothing ends up in proportion, any pointers for me???

yes, instead of looking at the image as a whole, work slowly around start with the one eye and finish the eye, then carry on, as ive done this so much now i just start everywhere, just keep practicing!!
